Summer may be over, but there’s still plenty of boating fun to be had by participating in the 2009 James River Parade of Lights. Each year, boaters decorate their vessels and converge on the James River for a boat parade marking the festive holiday season. Spectators will line the shorelines at several viewing sites along the parade route, which will run from Richmond to Henricus Historical Park in Chesterfield County. lived at Agecroft during Elizabethan England, as well
as visit a
Christmas cocktail party like one that would have been held in Virginia
after
World War II. Special holiday refreshments will be available for you to enjoy as
you stroll the grounds and Craft tables are be provided for the children.
