Ronnie Hier is a second-generation entrepreneur and salon owner. The salon business, however wasn’t even on Ronnie’s mind while he was working on his marketing degree. That all changed in 1975 when Ronnie witnessed the multi-faceted “success” Warren Beaty’s character was having in the motion picture, “Shampoo.” Later that year, Ronnie Hier decided to enroll in cosmetology school.
Ronnie Hier stepped into the world of glamour in 1977 as a hairdresser.
Hier was so successful that in 1991, he was able to open his own salon. Since then, Ronnie Elias Salon has become one of the premier salons in the Northern Virginia area.

Salon manager, Missy Hier, began her New York fashion career with designer, Halston before joining Chanel, Estée Lauder and later, Shiseido in the cosmetic industry. If it’s glam you want, you can bet Missy knows how to get it for you!
Missy oversees a team of profession talent that has years of experience and an edge they keep razor sharp with “continuing and lifelong” education from Vivian Mackinder, Bumble and Bumble University and the Vidal Sassoon Academy.
