When I called the company, someone returned my call promptly and scheduled my work for about 3 weeks later. The workman was very professional. He inspected the chimney with a large light and then cleaned it with a large wire brush and used a vacuum to clean up the mess. He didn't try to sell me anything or get me to agree to something I didn’t need. I was very satisfied.  AL

 

I was referred to Allstate even before I moved to Virginia. Not only did my friends tell me how good he was, they also said that if Marvin told you something, it’s true, so just do it.  The day I flew in to take delivery of our new rugs, I discovered a huge problem with the fireplace. Soot and ash was everywhere around the hearth.  I called Marvin in a panic and he told me it would be about an hour and a half before he could get out to my house.

 

As soon as he arrived, he started laying down heavy duty drop sheets over my entire living room.  He got to work quickly, but methodically and never got a smidgen of ash on anything.  It was amazing to see how careful he was.  When he was all finished, he gave me the bill.  I was too embarrassed to pay him only what the invoice said was owed so he got a big tip.  This year, he came back to check the chimney, but said, “You know it looks really good.  I don’t think we need to do anything here until next year.”  Can you believe this guy!  DD
