Palermo is a dream come true for Marianna LoDucca. Marianna and her sisters, Luisa and Josephine came to America with their parents when they were just kids. Pietro and Rosalia LoDucca started a restaurant when they moved to Richmond in 1979. Younger sister, Josephine owns a restaurant in Richmond with her husband, Angelo. Luisa’s son, Gaspare and Marianna opened Palermo last Fall and it has been a wildly successful first year for the new venture.

At Palermo, it truly is Tradizione della Famiglia, a family tradition.

Pride of ownership, quality of ingredients and old Sicilian recipes are the foundation of the truly authentic Italian experience to be had at this upscale, yet casual restaurant. From the appetizers to the perfectly prepared desserts, everything is freshly made, passionately executed and, what can one say except simply incredible.
